What is the P.O.P. Program?
The Proclaiming Our Potential (P.O.P.) Day Program offers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities a safe and caring place to connect with peers and expand their skillset so they may live more independent and full lives. Our staff is dedicated to providing a positive environment where clients are encouraged to reach their full potential.
The Proclaiming Our Potential (P.O.P.) Day Program offers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities a safe and caring place to connect with peers and expand their skillset so they may live more independent and full lives. Our staff is dedicated to providing a positive environment where clients are encouraged to reach their full potential.
The P.O.P. program includes meaningful interactive lessons that focus on the following key areas; General Education Retention, Social Skills, Independent Living Skills (cleaning, cooking, hygiene, shopping, personal finance, and transportation), Communication Skills (team building lessons, teamwork exercises), Fine Arts (performance, culinary, and therapeutic), and Civic Engagement (educational activities, neighborhood beautification, community service, self-advocacy).

Physical Attendance: The P.O.P. Program is offered to qualified individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities 18 years old and over Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm. P.O.P. Program runs all year with holiday breaks similar to our public-school schedule. Tuition is $400.00/month or $40.00/day.
Scholarships are available for those who qualify.

Virtual Attendance: P.O.P. Virtual Program is offered to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities 16 years old and up Tuesday through Thursday 9:00 am-3:00 pm sessions with a break from 12-2 pm
P.O.P. Virtual Program runs from January through June and will break for July.

Transportation: We are unable to offer transportation for clients at this time.

Fill out the application and turn it in at your convenience. You can email the application to; info@circleoffriendsministry.org or bring it to the office for review. If you have any questions regarding the information on this page, please contact the office during regular business hours at (863) 679-2507. If you need a notary to complete your application, please inform the staff that you will need assistance with this service when dropping off the application. We are happy to provide this service free of charge. Proper identification, such as photo ID, will be required for all notary services.
